Video Contest Rules and Disclaimer  

Conduct  

By entering the Contest, you agree to comply with and be bound by the Rules. You further agree to the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise reserves the rights in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant it finds to be: (1) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; (2) violating the Rules; (3) violating the terms of service, conditions of use or general rules or guidelines of any of Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise property or service; (4) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by any Entrant concerning identity, postal address, ownership of rights or non-compliance with the Rules may result in the immediate disqualification of an Entrant from the Contest.  

Personal Property  

By registering for the Contest and/or submitting an entry, you agree explicitly that all components of your artwork and supporting statement are indeed original creations. All personal property and industrial property rights in any entries that belong to the Entrants will remain with the Entrants, but the submissions will otherwise become the property of Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise and will not be returned after the Contest. If for any reason the Video portion of the Contest is not capable of running as planned due to  bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, postpone or suspend the Contest.  

Internet 

Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission.  

Media Activity  

By participating in this Contest, you agree and hereby grant Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and publicly display your Contest submission for the purpose of the contest Event, including display on Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise Website, without any attribution or compensation to you. You also agree for your submission to be used in any media or promotional activity regarding the Contest. If you are one of the Finalists, you agree that may use your name and likeness to administer and promote the Contest and to conduct media interviews and future promotional contest events. 

Judging and selection of winners  

Entries will be judged by members of Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise based on the following criteria:  

(i) Content  

(ii) Creativity  

(iii) Video quality and sound  

(iv) Numbers of views on either Facebook, Instagram, TikTok 

Decisions of the judges are final and binding. If a winner, for whatever reason, is not able to accept his/her prize, then Shaka Wasaga Boat Cruise reserves the right to award the prize to another Entrant. 

 Prizes  

Prizes will be awarded to the top videos. The finalists of the following will receive: Winner wins A Private Cruise value at $ 1017.00 with HST. 

The contest end on October 31st 2024 and the winner will be announce on November 1st 2024.
